What is a "relationship with food?"
Societal conditioning around food morality influences our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, often leading to shame and disconnection from personal agency. By shedding these ingrained beliefs, we open the possibility of finding peace and joy in our relationships with food.

 Join us for a life-changing, in-person three and a half day retreat at the breathtaking Calistoga Motor Lodge in Northern California, surrounded by nature’s beauty.
Over the course of three immersive days, you'll experience powerful workshops, evidence-based mindfulness practices and eating experiences, and meaningful connections. Learn to trust yourself through food freedom, self-compassion, and a paradigm shift to inspire your healing journey.
What does food freedom mean?
Unhealthy relationships with food often stem from unmet emotional needs rather than the food itself. Through mindfulness, emotional healing, and neuroplasticity, I teach a holistic approach to rebuilding a healthy connection with food while fostering self-awareness, compassion, and enjoyment in life.

I’m a health coach, humanistic psychology life coach, mindfulness expert, and emotional healing workshop facilitator.
My passion is supporting people in relieving suffering and experience more joy. This retreat is all about healing your relationship with food by helping you trust yourself by reconnecting to the body through mindfulness and self-compassion.
I spent a decade spreading my message through my online community Mind Over Munch. I’m so excited to combine my passion for food and healing with my passion for personal growth and retreats in a setting where we can be in person together.
I battled perfectionism and struggled with body image and disordered eating most of my life, and through this I discovered an unexpected truth — that my food issues had almost nothing to do with food. I realized that I was using food as an emotional coping mechanism. I found that true freedom with food comes from inner wisdom, and it became clear to me how much outer wisdom I had been conditioned to trust, over trusting myself.
Now, I teach others how to break free from the cycles of emotional eating and food obsession by cultivating both inner and outer wisdom. Balance allows for compassionate relationships with food, focusing on nourishment (and joy!), with a foundation of self-trust.

What "rules" do you have around food?
Explore and redefine your relationship with food by letting go of the rules, restrictions, and external judgments that have shaped your habits and beliefs. Together, we'll uncover your inner wisdom, move beyond fear and shame, and create a path to genuine freedom, self-trust, and peace.

- Check-in to your room 4pm or later on Thursday. Get settled into your room and enjoy a dinner at the hotel or in town. Dinner not included Thursday night.
- Registration is 8:00 am on Friday.
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are full days. You’ll be engaged from Breakfast until after Dinner, with an afternoon break for personal time included.
- Dress comfortably all week, but bring something nicer to wear for our special group dinner on Sunday night!
- The retreat will complete by 11:00 am on Monday.
